【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoverstechniquesusingtracergasdilutionfordeterminingasinglezone'sairchangewiththeoutdoors,asinducedbyweatherconditionsandbymechanicalventilation.Thesetechniquesare:(1)concentrationdecay,(2)constantinjection,and(3)constantconcentration.1.2Thistestmethodisrestrictedtoanysingletracergas.Theassociateddataanalysisassumesthatonecancharacterizethetracergasconcentrationwithinthezonewithasinglevalue.Thezoneshallbeabuilding,vehicle,testcell,oranyconformingenclosure.1.3Useofthistestmethodrequiresaknowledgeoftheprinciplesofgasanalysisandinstrumentation.Correctuseoftheformulaspresentedhererequiresconsistentuseofunits,especiallythoseoftime.1.4Determinationofthecontributiontoairchangebyindividualcomponentsofthezoneenclosureisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.5Theresultsfromthistestmethodpertainonlytothoseconditionsofweatherandzonaloperationthatprevailedduringthemeasurement.Theuseoftheresultsfromthistesttopredictairchangeunderotherconditionsisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.6Thetextofthistestmethodreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredrequirementsofthistestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
