【摘要】:Theproceduresinthesetestmethodsmaybeusedfortheacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,butcautionisadvisedbecausetechniciansmayfailtogetgoodagreementbetweenresultsoncertainyarns,cords,orfabrics.ComparativetestsasdirectedinSection5.1.1maybeadvisable.Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,testsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogeneousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thesignificanceanduseofparticularpropertiesarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifictestmethods.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofindustrialyarnsmadeofglassfilaments,cordstwistedfromsuchyarns,andfabricwovenfromsuchcordsx2014;productsthataremadespecificallyforuseinthemanufactureofpneumatictires.Byagreement,thesetestmethodsmaybeappliedtosimilarglassyarnsandcordsusedforreinforcingotherrubbergoodsandforotherindustrialapplications.Theyarnorcordmaybewoundoncones,tubes,bobbins,spools,orbeams,wovenintofabric,orinotherforms.Thesetestmethodsincludetestingproceduresonly.Thesetestmethodsdonotincludespecificationsortolerances.1.2Noprocedureisincludedforthedeterminationoffatigueresistanceofcords,butseveralarticlesrelatingtothemeasurementoffatigueresistanceofcordsmadefromman-madefilamentsandcuredinrubberwerepublishedinthebibliographyofTestMethodsD885.
